Cards

My family loves to play cards so we thought we would start Braylin off early learning how to play!

While were at Andrea's house we got to play a lot of games..rummy, hand and foot, and quarkle. of course, my mom won all of the games but Andrea and I tried really hard. Games are one of my favorite things to do and I only hope Braylin like them too when she gets older!

Coolidge Park

It was amazing and fun to be in the middle of this busy park! The picture does not do it justice...there were people everywhere playing ball, having picnic, flying kites, and playing with the kids. It was neat to see that people still get out for free entertainment with their family and friends.

After walking around the whole park, we went shopping at these fun little shops along the road. They were having Art til Dark. Tons of people out enjoying the beautiful day! Great time to spend outside with the Andrea, Kimmy, and Braylin (which loved being outside in the stroller all day).

We made it home!

What a great trip we had!

Braylin had a week of first. First, she went on two plane rides to get to Andrea's! Did a great job, loved smiling and looking at all the people on the plane. Second, we woke up the first morning and Kimmy laid her on her back to have some play time..in no time at all she rolled over to her tummy! I was a very proud mamma, so we took a video of it and sent it to daddy since he was with the guys.

Braylin was spending some time getting ready with Kimmy. She loves to look at herself in the mirror. Even more fun for her when she has someone to look at!

Now it is time to find something to wear, so of course she wants to help! Having a girl is so fun...lots of clothes and matching bows! I love it!!

This day we played at home (as you can tell) and went on lots of walks!

I will add more post and pictures of our time in Tennessee.

Packing

We are really excited! Braylin is about to take her first airplane ride! Kimmy, Braylin, and I are going to Chattanooga, TN to visit my cousin. While we are there, I will be having a Scentsy party...got to pay for the plane ticket! Since we leave tomorrow, I have been packing for what seems like all day. Taking a baby with you on a plane gives a new mix on packing. We will be gone 5 days 4 nights, doesn't seem long until packing for Braylin and it is alot of stuff. With the new cost of  bagage, I will be taking ONE bag for the both of us...which I think is have packed. Now, what to take on the carry on? Last trip Brad and I took our plane was delayed...so we only had our carry on bags for 24 hours. Lots of food, couple diapers, and one change of clothes, hope thats enough for her?!?! Wish us luck and I will post pictures soon!

More Nana's

What a fun weekend we had at Nana's! Went shopping with Nana and Nancy, played with her toys, and went to church on Sunday. Here is the family pic..if Brad and I could only look as cute as Braylin does! She loves to dress up and have everyone talk to her! While we were there, she learned how to raise her hands above her head, she thinks is so much fun!

Weekend at Nana's

This weekend at Nana's we had high hopes of Braylin sleeping and eating great! We had been to the doctor, got new formula (that we add alitte equal to), and she had been eating great! Well....lastnight was a different story. Tummy hurt all night, thanks to Nana and Daddy we all made it through the night though. The sun came up and she seems back to normal, happy and talking. We are about to go shopping so wish us the best! I will let you know how the tummy feels after everything...

Pics I Promised

There are the pictures I promised you...Erica thank you so much for taking these and sending them to me! They are super cute!

 As you can tell, she is a good kisser and loves to give them! I want a similiar picture to put in her frame between her bows!

Days like today are great. Braylin gets to go play with her friend and I get three hours to myself. Plus, everytime I take her over there Erica gets the cutest pics of the kids. These are last weeks pics...I can not wait till she sends me the ones from today, super cute! I will post them as soon as she sends them to me.

2X4 Piece of Wood

What a day it has been at the hospital. Braylin has had eating problems...we have tried every formula that is made and all of them hurt her tummy within a couple days or weeks. After many doctors appointments, the doc said she needed to have an upper GI exam. Sounded simple at the time but then it turned into checking her in at the hospital, no food, and a big machine. We got to the hospital, checked in and waited and waited and waited. The wait seemed forever with a baby girl who had not eaten since 6am (they would not let us feed her until after the exam) and a tired girl who could not sleep for all the people in the ER. Finally, we make it back to the exam room. Undressed her and handed her to the technician who strapped her to a 2X4 piece of wood. Yes, strapped her...her arms were out and she was smiling, all seemed good so far. Then they strapped her arms above her head and tilted her sideways and were wanting her to drink a bottle of liquid so they could see it in her tummy. This is when Mommy had to step back and hold in the tears and let Daddy be the strong one. After the exam, Braylin was unstrapped and smiling bigger than ever! All in all everything looked fine so far and Braylin was strong! We were dismissed and able to feed her...that made for a very happy baby!

Mommies Helper

Mommies little helper. We were putting all of her clothes way and cleaning up her room. She loved sitting in her laundry basket and talk to us!

Happy Baby

Today, Mom and I went to Baby Fest with Braylin. So much fun for the girls to all go out together! Braylin has starting eating better which has made for a really fun little girl! Therefore, she was up talking and smiling to everyone who would talk and smile back to her. It was like we had the life of the party with us...very entertaining for mom and I. Lots of compliments on how cute she was which always makes for a proud momma !

A Day With Mom

 Mom came for the weekend...we had a craft day! It was so much fun to get everything out, make a mess, and little your imagination go crazy. We had a couple items we wanted to make but it always turns in to a couple more after the hobby lobby run.

First, we made a sampler bag for my Scentsy product. My director had been looking for a bag with lots of pockets inside and a clear outside pocket. She asked if we could make, of course...we love to try and make anything new. I got the supplies and we went to sewing, well mom sewed. Here is our result..super cute bag with pockets and fringe!

Our next idea was a bow holder for all of Braylins bows. I had already had 3 empty picture frames hanging on her wall as decoration, so we started getting creative. We put fabric with ribbons on it and added to the exsiting frames. Such a fun way to display her bows and added a little fun to the room.

Now I just have to pick from one of the many pictures of Braylin with a BIG bow in her hair to hang in the middle! What a great day! Thanks Mom for coming to hang out with Bray and I!

Braylin has never been good at taking a bottle. We have switched her formula so many times that I think I have ever formula that has ever been made. When she turned 4 months...we got really excited for cereal by the spoon! Braylin was doing really good, only spitting out food with her little tongue ever once in a while. Until tonight...it was everywhere (good thing her shirt is white or you could see cereal all over it too)!

I am anticipating the time when Braylin can roll over...even though I know when she starts rolling I will wish she would sit still. So today I decided to do some practice with her. We have tired it from back to tummy and have not had much success. She is on her tummy and ready!

Here we go! Well at least I was hoping. So I decided to give her a kitty as a goal for her. She wanted the kitty more than she wanted to roll but with a little help from Mommy she made it to her back and was so proud of herself!

Smoothie

I have recently started to use as many coupons as I can, yes I coupon. Needless to say, I have had a coupon for a smoothie for a long time and I can not find it anywhere. So today I gave in and bought one without a coupon...AMAZING! Now Brad and I are trying to figure out how to make them without the package. It can't be to hard :)

JBF

Braylin, I, and some friends of ours went to the "Just Between Friends" consignment show today! WoW there was alot of stuff. We got to look at all the girly clothes and of course...we got alot! Bray and I are so excited, not sure how much daddy is going to be (wink, wink)!
